Review policy

I'm happy to review books, DVDs, theatre productions and more.

Accepting an offer does not mean I can guarantee the item in question will be reviewed immediately, but I will do my best to get the review published in a timely manner, before its release date if it's an advanced copy.

All items are accepted for the review on the basis that I will write my honest opinions. Reviews won't be malicious, and I will always be constructive if I have to say anything negative.

As a professional journalist, I am of course happy to abide by any embargoes that may be in place.

You can contact me via Twitter if you have any other questions @sarahmedway, or email girlreporter1@hotmail.co.uk.

Books
I'm happy to receive advanced reading copies, uncorrected proofs and review copies of books. I'll only read hard copies, and am also willing to review audiobooks.

When contacting me with your request, please include a synopsis, the release date of the book, and a picture of the cover. Please also include contact details for the author and the publisher, particularly in terms of social media.

I'm happy to host interviews, guest posts, giveaways and other events, so just run any suggestions by me.

Film and TV
I can attend advance screenings or review DVD releases of films and television productions.

When contacting me with your request, please include the synopsis, the release date, and a link to where I can download media. Please also include any Twitter usernames or hashtags that are relevant.

DVDs must be compatible for Region 2.

Theatre and other experiences
My blog centres on experiences that are London-based, so if you have anything you want reviewed in the capital, please get in touch.
